Now in a single unit you can crimp and decap standard analytical vials and headspace vials. Changing the jaws, either size or function, takes a matter of just seconds.

The Upper and Lower Anvil Set are parts of the Evacuable Potassium Bromide Die (51001144) which is used to form KBr pellets, a common method for preparing solid samples for FT-IR analysis. This set comes with the Evacuable Die, but it can also be ordered separately as a replacement or spare part.

The KBr Quick Press Accessory consists of a handpress, a 7 mm die set, a pellet extractor, and a 7 mm metal collar. A KBr pellet is formed in the metal collar that fits into the Pellet Holder (51002593), which is a required component of the quick press, but is not included with the accessory.

The Universal KBr Pellet Holder holds potassium bromide pellets, a widely-used technique for presenting solid samples for infrared analysis. This spring-mounted holder positions KBr pellets in the sample compartment of FT-IR spectrometers. It is required by the 15 Ton Hydraulic KBr Press (51004599), but can be ordered separately with this part number.

The Support Ring for KBr Pellets are circular paper rings used to reinforce KBr pellets formed in the Evacuable Potassium Bromide Die (51001144), which reduce the size of the pellet to 11 x 2 mm.

The Adjustable Pellet holder Adapter is required in order to mount the KBr Pellet Holder (04810949) in your FT-IR spectrometer. With this part number, This adapter is available as a replacement or spare part.

This die is precisely constructed to produce pellets of uniform quality and will continue to provide many years of service in your laboratory.

The Quick Press Spacer Die is a spool-like, stainless steel rod, approximately 7/8 in high with a diameter of 0.875 in. It is a component of the Quick Press and is used to seal large volume stainless steel capsule. Qty. 1
