The Vermont Forensics Laboratory Toxicology section utilizes the PerkinElmer Clarus® 580 GC with TurboMatrix Headspace to conduct their blood alcohol analysis as well as to calibrate their breath alcohol instruments. The advanced system has allowed the laboratory to become certified by ISO17025 standards, eliminating the need for testifying in court weekly by providing reliable testing results.
