It is made of hardened stainless steel, has an anti-reflective coated diamond sealed in indium, a transmission range of 7,800 cm-1 - 400 cm-1, and a low refractive index of 2.40 at 1000 cm-1. This plate is ideal for analyzing hard inflexible solid materials without risking damage to the crystal. Baseplate included.
