The Rechargeable Desiccant Kit for Spectrum 400 includes two rechargeable desiccant packs each encased in a rigid metal container: one pack for immediate use, and a second as a spare. This pack is designed to fit the spare window compartment on the Spectrum 400 spectrometer. One desiccant pack is required per desiccant change.

Desiccant packs can be reactivated by baking them in an oven at 250°C for 8 hours and then cooling them in a dry atmosphere. For optimal results, re-activate the packets immediately before re-use.
