Fluorescence Consumables & Accessories

The apron surrounds the ATR's top plate to protect the accessory from sample spillage.

This optional accessory fits the Microplate Reader (N4201024). It controls the temperature of the microplates via circulating water. Achievable temperature range using this accessore with:

• a water bath: ambient to 100°C
• a Peltier Controller: -5 to 100°C

A thermostatting device, such as the Peltier controller (N4100040) or a water bath (B0080171), is required, but not included.

Fluorescence reference standards measure for signal to noise and spectrum corrections for the FL 6500 and FL 8500 spectrophotometers.

This Quartz SUPRASIL^™ Flowcell is used in Fluorimetry. It has the following specifications:

The Continuous Wave Module with Upper Bracket contains a 150 W continuous wave lamp and a bracket. It comes from the factory as one pre-calibrated unit, enabling easy installation by the customer. This lamp is compatible with the FL 8500 spectrometer.

The pre-calibrated Xenon Pulse Lamp with Silencer combines a power-selectable Xenon Pulse Lamp, bracket, and silencer into one unit, enabling easy installation by the customer. This lamp is compatible with the FL 6500 spectrometers.

The microplate reader accessory is used for DNA quantitation, enzyme-linked assays, protein measurements, cell viability testing, and drug research testing.

The Fluorescence standards assist with the day-to-day checks on reproducibility and wavelength calibrations of fluoroscopy spectrometers.

The Xenon Source Lamp uses a pulsed xenon discharge of 7.3 W average power at 50 Hz. This reliable source produces very little ozone or heat but provides remarkable sensitivity due to its peak intensity exceeding 1 KW. Compatible with the LS 30/40/50 spectrometers.

The Fluorescence Cell for Magnetic Stirrers can be used with any stirred cell holder. It is made of Quartz SUPRASIL^® and has the following specifications:

The Festoon Lamp, 3 W is used along with the Xenon Source Lamp, 7.3 W to maintain even triggering and stability in our LS 30/40/45/50/50B/55 spectrometers. This lamp is also comapatible with the LC 240.
